THE 30-DAY FU MONEY PLAN SERIES BOOK 1 (Out of 5)
Find out how financially and professionally free you actually are.
A practical 30-day workbook for figuring out where your income, career and lifestyle are too dependent on things you don’t control, and what to do about it.
10–20 minutes a day • Worksheets included • Runway + Risk Calculator included
NOTE: If you enroll in our live 4-week cohort, Book 1 is included with your cohort enrollment. You do not need to complete the entire book before we start. Before our first session, I’d like you to complete the 12-question FU Money Assessment so we have a baseline for where you stand today. The rest of the book is yours to work through at your own pace and use as a companion to the cohort.
Could you actually afford to change your life?
Quit your job. Lose your biggest client. Take six months off. Leave a relationship. Change careers. Start something new.
Most of us don’t know the answer until something happens.
The 30-Day FU Money Plan helps you figure it out before you’re forced to.
You’ll find out:
- how dependent you are on one paycheck, client or person
- how long your financial runway actually lasts
- what happens if your biggest source of income disappears
- which professional and financial assets you already control
- where your biggest FU Money gaps are
- what you should work on first
That gets us to the point extraordinarily quickly.
WHAT YOU GET
Everything you need to figure out where you stand.
The 30-Day FU Money Plan: Book 1 30 short exercises that take roughly 10–20 minutes a day.
Assessment + worksheets Work through your income, expenses, dependencies, professional assets, marketability and options.
FU Money Runway + Risk Calculator Enter your numbers and calculate your runway, income concentration, dependency and risk. Normally $29, included with the book.
Your FU Money priorities Finish knowing where you’re vulnerable and what deserves your attention first.
This is probably for you if…
- you earn decent money but still don’t feel particularly free
- you’re considering a career change, side business, consulting, freelancing or self-employment
- one job, client, spouse or income source carries too much weight
- you want more options without blowing up your entire life to get them
At the end of 30 days, you’ll know:
Where you’re exposed.
What happens if your biggest source of security disappears.
What you already own.
Skills, relationships, income sources, assets and options that don’t belong to an employer or client.
What needs fixing first.
You don’t need a 47-point life plan. You need to know where your biggest dependency is and what your next move should be.
You don’t need to quit your job tomorrow.
You don’t need to start a company.
And you certainly don’t need to become a millionaire before you’re allowed to have options.
You just need to know how dependent you currently are and what would give you more control.
That’s what we’re going to figure out.
Why Listen To Me
Hi, I’m Krista.
I’ve spent more than 20 years in marketing, built three agencies, worked with brands including Apple, HP, Sephora, Samsung and REI, and had to rebuild my own career and income more than once.
That experience changed how I think about money and security. A good income can disappear. A title can disappear. A client can disappear.
I created FU Money Plan to help people build more options into their lives, so one paycheck, company, client or person doesn’t have quite so much power over what happens next.
A few questions you might have
Do I have to complete this in exactly 30 days?
No. The 30-day format gives you some structure, but go faster or slower if that works better for you. Most days take about 10–20 minutes.
Do I need to be self-employed?
No. You can be employed, self-employed, between jobs, building something on the side, or trying to figure out what you want to do next.
The point is to understand how much of your financial and professional life currently depends on things outside your control.
Is this only for people who want to quit their jobs?
Definitely not.
You may decide your job is perfectly fine. FU Money is about having options. Sometimes the best outcome is realizing you don’t need to make a dramatic change at all. You just need to strengthen a few weak spots.
What exactly will I have at the end?
You’ll have a much clearer picture of your income, financial runway, dependencies, professional assets and biggest areas of risk.
More importantly, you’ll know what you should work on first if you want more control over your income and future.
What is Book 1?
Book 1 is the starting point of the FU Money Plan series.
Before you start adding income streams, building a business, investing in courses or making major career moves, this book helps you understand where you stand right now: what you have, what you depend on, where you’re vulnerable and where you have opportunities.
Future books will build from there.
Is the FU Money Runway + Risk Calculator included?
Yes. It’s normally $29 on its own, and it’s included with Book 1 at no additional cost. You’ll find the coupon code inside the book.
Do I need to be good with money or spreadsheets?
No. This isn’t an accounting course.
Some exercises involve numbers because we need to know what’s actually happening with your money. Others deal with your work, skills, income sources, dependencies and options.
Is this financial advice?
No. The FU Money Plan is an educational planning tool designed to help you understand your own situation and think through your options. It isn’t financial, investment, tax or legal advice.
